I'm pretty new to the whole replica prop scene so I thought I'd post one of my earlier builds from a few weeks back. It was my attempt at something familiar and simple in design. The TF2 flare gun is a cartoony hybrid of a survivalist flare gun and a fire extinguisher that fires incendiary grenades that explode on impact. My piece is a scaled down replica (minus some functionality like a opening breech or being able to fire), that I'm kinda proud of even though whenever I look at it all I see are mistakes. Shoddy paint job, filler peeling off and slightly squished proportions all give it a weird charm. It now sits on a shelf in my garage as a reminder of what NOT to do in further projects.
