Pulse Riflebarrel vent measurements

Hello all
Does anyone know what the size of the vent holes are on the barrel vent of the pulse rifle. Judging from my reference pics i think the vents are 1/4 wide 1/2 long? and the spaces are about 1/8. Gonna fabricate my own here soon just want to make sure im in the ballpark. Thanks

I'm gong under the assumption you mean the one from the movie "Aliens" cuz I know of the one from the dead space video game and from the game fallout new vegas.

But I think you're right with the size of the holes but not the spacing, I took a screen cap (bad quaility small one) into photoshop and drew some lines for ref. I'm pretty sure the spacing is the same as the vent is wide, so 1/4 inch.
