Pulse Rifle scratch build

Oh my God guys! Thank you so much for your kind words! :lol

Thank you Filandrius about that info on pivot plate! And I don't think that styrene over wood method is such a big thing, you just glue the styrene on wood! :lol :lol

I did some work on the stock these days, so I'll put some pictures on tomorrow, hopefully. I dont know how much time will I have for the build during next couple of weeks because of a film project I'm working on, but I'll try to work as much as I can. I think the next part I'll do is spascage, but I am still not completely sure how it actually works so I may have some questions.

Anyway thanks again and I'll post soon.

Looks great! I've wanted to have one of these for years but the kits all look so expensive (at least for the decently detailed ones.) This post gives me hope that it isn't impossible to just build one.

I find that many modelers have never considered the plastic over wood approach. I use this for some of my small scale tanks by layering 1mm thick plastic over balsa wood. The plastic gives it a good finish and the wood gives it a solid sturdy base.

I always use plastic over wood and even card,so much easier to make details with and no sanding is a plus. This build is coming along really well and is an inspiration,my pr build has been dead in the water for a year or so,i may have to restart

Agreed, that really is fantastic work, that Thompson is one hell of a prelude to what will be an awesome rifle!
