Proton Grenade from ROTJ

I'm not sure what the original was, but guessing they just spotted something in the workshop or while out and thought 'hey' that will do for so and so, as it seems was the way with most props in the original films. I have seen old heat lamps with something similar, but not exactly the same, but would rule out smoke detectors as they weren't really around much back when rotj was made. It will be one of those bits one day you will see and think 'that's it'

Very cool! Now someone who knows Gus Lopez needs to bug him for more pics and for any maker marks on the main piece. I've tried emailing before about something else, but never got an answer.

The skirt is obviously another part. It has mold-lines where the main cylinder has none.

The cylinder and top reminds me a whole lot of the ceiling light in my bathroom. A socket for a lightbulb in the middle and some locking tabs around it for a glass sphere to mount around it.
