Anyone know why the new Efx Falcon does not come with the asteroid base. It was shown with that base at the last few Celebrations.

EFX changed it. Probably because the mirrored base is cheaper to produce and matches their other helmet bases.

I didn't order Darth Vaders helmet which I'm on the fence nor Rey's Staff or Poe's helmet.

I was extremely on the fence with the Vader and/or Finns helmet. Wife ok'd both, but I just couldn't justify the cost to myself. Was a tough call though, haha. Looking forward to seeing pics of the rest, that's a pretty impressive haul!

eFX probably changed it for two reasons.
1. It didn't match with their other bases, & would stand out like a turd.
2. It looked like a turd.

I was up all night debating on whether or not to finance the kylo saber... I hate doing that and my truck seriously broke... come Saturday im ripping the truck apart, if it's not dead... boy do I have a real decision to make on the kylo saber....

That one kills me. I want it so bad.

I don't think it's happening unless one of my side projects hits and I'm lying on a pile of money in my bed and think "hey... instead of rolling on this pile of money, how bout I roll on a smaller pile of money holding a Kylo Ren saber..."

As for the other saber, you should be able to do better than PS for less. Real graflex, clamp cover, grips, belt clip from roy and voila...As good as PS, theoretically, would getting a roman graflex instead of the real one. Roman's is like 250 or something. Possibly less. Beats the hell out of 1500 shipped

I watched this this morning. I really don't mind the blue, it makes it look heat treated

I thought this saber was 3D printed, I thought the whole thing was 3D printed. now knowing its aluminum... oh boy do I want this...

Has anybody seen a picture of the melted Vader helmet next to a Master Replicas or EFX Vader helmet? I'm trying to gauge the size difference and if they will look odd displayed next to each other.

So the lightsaber in the video is mine, and yes I'm pretty disappointed with the color. Does anyone have good reference shots of the screen used one? Was it blue? Because for a company that is claiming that they are producing the closest thing to the original prop, I would hope the original was blue. I emailed them today with comparisons to their promotional shots and is substantially different.

For the price I say return it. Everything I have seen of the Hero saber it is not blue.

I will be curious to see how they handle the request?

Yeah I will post their reply as soon as I get it. They didn't answer the phone today so I will try on Monday too. I have a feeling they will argue that they are all different because they are hand painted, but I think mine is really off.

personally i really like yours. maybe its more blue in real life? but in the video i am really liking the blue-ish color it looks

your very lucky to end up grabbing one. after you video and you explaining each piece and what material its made out of I'm sold and really want one!! i just dont have the funds for anything like this right now

Not overly impressed with the ps. Prices are really high and being limited to 500 pieces for vader and you can still get one , it looks like I'm not alone. With all the talent and runs available here, I would rather just go with accurate fan made runs.

whats a killer is the seals that came in dont match... no way in heck I'm going to get them for tomorrow morning so i have to wait until next weekend to rip the tranny out and replace the seal.. another week of drooling over this thread...

Wow, several of the fanmade ones on Etsy have a better paint job than that... the silver shiny metal parts with no weathering are crazy.

do you know if there is a limit to kylo sabers? see my problem is this.. its roughly 1200 bucks now ( i wish i knew what everyone in the US is paying to get it to your door) and then in 3 years these things will be selling for 3k... even though the price is just out of reach for me now, come 3 years ill NEVER be able to afford one...
