Props and replicas that actual have uses?

Anyone know of any builds or even ideas to make props functioning in some way? Like a green lantern battery as a phone charging dock. Props take up a lot of space and was wondering if anyone had any cool ideas to make these things we collect useful.

Walking sticks (Old Biffs cane or John Hammonds Jurassic Park cane) knives are always good (Rambo survival knife, Arnies Predator knife). The favourite I saw (I think on here) was a build of the generator used to charge R2 in the Dagobah swamp made into a phone charger. Want one of those..... Also I made a Stargate Gate into a Mirror for our bathroom, its my wifes favourite

I use a replica com panel from Firefly that a built as a light switch for my office. The clipper foot switch is setup to push a dimmer switch behind it.
