Re: Free paper-prop thread no.3 - 2008

Kurtyboy's been cleaning up the Pulp Fiction poster. If anyone knows what font this is, it would be most helpful.

Many thanks to Kurtyboy.

Here's Desmond's photo and the Pearl Station Notebook from LOST.

Pearl Notebook

Is anyone else having a difficult time finding a composition note book for the Pearl station books?
All I seem to be able to find in stores are ones with labels printed into the cover (big white rectangles with the company name, much larger then the size of the pearl logo)

Im going to look online now and see if I can find any, just wondering if anyone else had any luck.

For those fans of the transformers movie. This is a site I found while doing searches for Sector 7.

www.sectorseven.org

There are several different passwords used to get in. Each one accesses a different security level. There are video clips, sector7 reports plus soundfiles and many other goodies.

Here are the passwords I've found so far. (case sensitive)

DECEPTIBOT
BYEBYEPOWERS
gravesen
codeblack

If anyone finds any other passwords, let me know and I'll add them to the list.

Hope that helps those who don't begin to play with Sector Seven ... :love

Pssst....flip them over and upsidedown. The back of the notebook shouldn't have anything other than the pattern on it.

Re: Free paper-prop thread no.3 - 2008

I thought that when I was looking at them.

The notebooks at: Walmart, officemax, office deport, target all had barcodes on the back.

I still need to check Staples.

Some times replics prop building can be very frusterating.

Ship them to me and I'll eliminate them for you. Just pay the shipping. It'll only take me an hour or so. I used to do it for fun eons ago in school with just a paperclip and black marker. An X-Acto, paint, and decades of experience will make it invisble.

I was wondering. Has anyone found or taken a stab at making Blade's FBI wanted poster from Blade Trinity?

Re: Free paper-prop thread no.3 - 2008

Don't know how many people here are fans of obscure horror movies, but I came across the bottle label for Tenafly Viper, from the "classic" Street Trash, a drink that will melt you from the inside out:

Here are some Gears of War paper props:
You can use this website to convert them to poster-sized PDF's:
http://www.blockposters.com/default.aspx
Though these aren't huge image files, they work well as posters due to the rough and weathered quality.

On the Gears promotional website (where I got these images) there is a letter from the government to the family of a slain soldier. Does anyone think they can recreate it or just the letterhead? I apologize for the quality of the image. This is the best that was available:

Here are some impressive pepakura (papercraft) files:
The iconic Gear armor (front and back, scaled for six feet one inches, a whopping 60 pages):
