Does anyone have the official quarantine notice that you see plastered all over London in 28 Days Later?

I think it was in a previous paper prop thread, but search brings up nothing. :unsure

Some espionage based ones.

This is a poor screen cap from the mid 1990s ABC series "Spy Game" cancelled after one season.

Could anyone clean this one up?

Do you have a better image of the shield or any idea what the Latin is?
Veritas et Virtus?

The "dots" on the crest appear to just be a repeat of the image in the shield which appears to be a swirl of some kind over a compass rose. Any idea about the significance of the red swirl so I can try to decipher the shape?

edit: I added an approximation. Sort of an @, but with an "e."


Here is what I have so far. There was not much I could do with the photo, but I tried to sharpen it a bit.

edit:still playing with the font for the personal info lines. Does anyone recognize it? Right now I am using a customized version of Abadi MT Condensed Light.

After much squinting, Moviebuff5:
I think it reads 'VERITAS ET VENTUS" - or 'Truth and Wind" in English.
Though it could just as well be 'VERITAS EX VENTUS' - 'Truth from Wind'

Literally, facts from hot air. But I'm certainly no Latin scholar!

But I downloaded it from somewhere. Chances are it was made by someone here. If so, they can step up & take due credit. :thumbsup

That seems most accurate considering the nature of the show.

I don't have a better image of the symbol because it was a dvd pulled from vhs.

No worries.

It's also worth noting that "virtus" can also mean honor or courage or valor. They all fit and it just depends on whom you ask for a translation.

Yeah. I remember hearing that complaint when the poster originally made it available for upload. I seem to remember the guy stating that the misspellings were, in fact, screen-accurate. I didn't bother to check, personally.

Actually that's my recreation and it includes all the misspellings or alternative spellings directly from the screen used piece.
