Just to kick more sand in all of our faces ... this is only Scott's 4th sculpt.

Yup, you read that right ... FOURTH SCULPT!!!

Somebody call Professor Xavier because we just found someone with mutant sculpting ability ... LOL!

Someone asked him this over at the Lair - his exact words were "a cheap firm clean clay. not too bad."

I'll ask him if he can give us the exact sort of clay he uses.

I've been following this closely and decided to take a quick break from drooling to simply say this is going to look awesome displayed in and amongst your fantastic collection, Si.

Scott has begun custom sculpting skulls for this bad boy.

This part of the project is winding down now ... Scott has custom sculpted some more skulls that adorn the Elder's outfit:

He has also added quills to the Elder's chest and exposed shoulder:

Here are some pics Scott just sent me of the back. He mentioned that he'd be cooling down the colors of the backpack slightly:

I'm really happy with the way this is turning out and I cannot wait to see it in person.

With the next phase he plans on sculpting the hands, gauntlets (that can be velcroed on to the portions already sculpted on the arms) and fashion a screen accurate spear for the figure.

Right now the idea is to have one hand sculpted as if it were gripping the spear.
