post your spidey pics

That ultimate Spider man is the business! The frames set it off ever so nicely too.

Thanks! I thought so too, really pulled things together. Then comes the moment when you look up and surprise yourself, "Holy crap, I'm Spider-Man!"

Those prints are beautiful Luna! I wants it for meeeee.
Hahaha, thank you! Means a lot coming from the dye-sub king. ;)

Lunaman, the ultimte spidey is beautiful. great print and lenses

Thank you, I'm really loving it. Tjack did an awesome job with the lenses, I only curved them and attached them to the suit.

Those both turned out really sick!

Thank you, kindly! These are the two suits from the comics I wanted most desperately, and now I can hang them in my closet. It's surreal.

Lunaman, they're awesome! Damn do i love those eyes. Great suits :D :thumbsup

Thank you, thank you!

I have a couple more shots of the ultimate suit I'd like to share, but my computer's being finicky. They're not any higher quality, but I think they show off the full length a little more cohesively since I'm not holding the camera at the same time I'm standing in front of it. Hopefully they'll be shareable soon; one seriously looks like you pulled a frame from a comic and photoshopped it to look like a grainy photo.

I'm loving these eyes, but I have a question for other spider-men, particularly the group of TASM bros. On my symbiote and Raimi suits I made the lens material from an open wire mesh, but on the new Ultimate suit I used the reflective plastic film material with honeycomb pattern, a la the new ASM2 eyes. It looks amazing, good visibility while a little darker to see through,, but over the course of wearing the mask for a while the inside slowly starts to fog up. Is there a straightforward remedy to deal with fogging on sunglass-type lenses? I've heard of baby shampoo and rain-x, is there an obvious method I'm forgetting? I have a drop down hood-type mask so it's not an issue to take a breather every once in a while, but ideally I'd like to be able to stay fully suited for hours.

round of toothpaste on the lenses should stop it from fogging up

"round of toothpaste"? Google's not bringing up any info. Could you clarify? Surely my regular colgate teeth cleaning agent would look cloudy if applied. Sorry for my misunderstanding, thanks for the info. Do you mean apply tootpaste in a ring, not directly where I'm looking through?

Here are some of the ones i have/have had
(Not including the Amazing Spidey suit i modified and showcased in my other thread):

Nice, looks like you're having a lot of fun with them, too! Haha, I love the climbing on top of the car photos.

Ahhhh!! Lunaman wins the thread! Those lenses just set it off!

Hahahaha, wow, thanks so much for the support, guys! I wouldn't have these suits if it weren't for all the great info and talented craftspeople on this forum. I read an awful lot of people's great threads before I even thought of starting my own project.

I've still got a couple more photos of the suit I'm trying to upload, this computer is driving me insane. (been posting from my phone all day)

Finally got the photo files transferred! They're kind of blurry, but I think you can tell why I like them. Proper full length and proper spidey pose.

@Lunaman, great suit and lenses. Btw, if you want to achieve the proper ultimate Spidey suit, go check Goosebot lenses and try to find the Back Spider of that suit.
