Possible Ebay Scam Auction MR Lightsaber Prototype

It's a good thing I kept the info from this last guys auction:
Link to old Yoda Scam Auction

Because the same guy seems to be at it again. A "one of a kind" prototype MR Luke: Link to Latest Possible Scam Auction The "Letter of Authentisity" doesn't even look convincing to me.

If MR could check this out and chime in I would appreciate it. If this is indeed a scam then I hope the auction gets pulled. I'd hate to see people get ripped off.

In all 70 of his transactions to date, he's been the buyer. He's never completed a sale on eBay and has no track record as a seller. :confused

I best the plague for Luke ROTJ are just that seller who happens to buy off of someone's plague from ebay.

What an idiot. You shouldn't say a prop is one of a kind, anybody makes at least two prototypes for a big run, I'd imagine MR would make more than that, and keep it.

The yoda one was especially stupid, why would they gold plate it?

"about Payment, Include shipping cost World Wide OK. As for me, My Credit card is stopped, so Plesae pay by Money order."

That line right there should be a major tip off

Would anyone even contemplate spending that amount of money without really checking it out ? :confused

That was an interesting read. So the guy complaining ended up being the actual seller? What was the point of posting a huge lie like that?

The guy that wrote that on the RS forum is a banned member from this forum. He is a sockpuppet. The story was BS from the start and that was obvious. Don't ask how I know, but I do. I've seen that type of writing before and would know it anywhere. The combination of misspelling easy words then nailing others that he shouldn't know how to spell is a dead giveaway. I could be wrong, but I don't think I am.

Yup. A link to a live auction is okay if ( a ) it's your own auction and you are advertising it or ( b ) you are warning fellow members of a possible scam. :thumbsup
