I did a bit of tweaking between the body and the pommel to split the chrome a bit... i agree with you on having an all chromed section is just a bit dull... how does this look?

I think that black element adds a lot to the design. It makes it look more balanced.

The black emitter in the first version had three sections, but the updated design only has two. IMO the three sections looked better. I'm very opinionated!

I agree with that one guy about breaking up the chrome. This looks a lot better. But definitely keep the heiland cap in the design! That's a must imo

I liked the Heiland endcap as it was from before, a good compromise for an "idealized" version of the hilt between the actual built prop and the artwork of it. I thought the last iteration was pretty close to perfect, and adding the ridge in the lower section to discern the endcap takes it one too far away from the original build. If anything, what I would keep is the cast 'orange-peel' surface texture of the button area like on the real prop/sink tube to break up the chrome. That alludes to both the real world items used to make it in the first place, and also textures seen on Dooku's AotC hilt, also for the area with the activation switch. Just my opinion.
