Portal 2 Costume and Props in the works

Alright, so I'm planning to do some Portal 2 related costumes and props, and one of the first things that I noticed I'll actually need some assistance for is the Long Fall Boot.

Anyone know of a shoe that as close as possible to this shape (of course, I expect that I'll be removing the heel).

I think that your best bet here is to find a standard high heel shoe and build around it, using styrene or something... The shape looks like a fairly standard shoe, so any cheap one that you can mod easily would probably be your best bet. My sister just asked for something similar, so I'm also looking around.
