Pirates of the Caribbean

I'm really into this letter, now ;-). I got it printed on A3, nicely aged. Even ordered some sealing wax, and sealing stamps, to reproduce the red and green seals at the bottom of the letter (damn, those things are expensive :-( ). Once the sealing wax and stamps are in, and I've finished the letter, I'll post some pics. Only need a leather backing for the letter, but I can't make that myself :-(. So unless some does a run of these, it will be without the leather "briefcase"...

Funny thing happened this morning. I do my usual Bay search for pirates stuff just to see if theres anything that strikes my interest and a Letter of Marque came up......I don't want to post it, i don't know if i am supposed to but do a search and see what pops up...looks like someone got MS word out and typed a bunch of crap on a regular sheet of paper.

Not even close to murdocs. If anyone speaks to him on a regular basis, could you see if he can forward the high res version to me. I love this prop.

Thanks.

I did a run of the leather covers about two years ago. A painful run since I cranked out about 20 leather covers. Another run coming soon as soon as I finish up my LofM print!

That LofM for sale is not even screen accurate and the bids are above $50.00? Highway robbery! At least make it so that it is SA.

That would be great! Do you happen to have some pics of the cover (or did you sell all of them?) Will it be with the King's seal embossed in it?

Took a look at the letter being offerred...it is pitiful compared to Murdoc's. And...its up to $51.00 with 16 bids!!!??? I can't believe it, it is not even screen accurate at all!!

Oh well..."Caveat emptor"...(buyer beware)...

Damn, I don't manage to find it. I want to see what cr*p is on the bay... Somebody has the item number for me? Really curious :).

That just... I don't know. Who the h*ll bids on this? "A quality reproduction"? It doesn't even look like the original! Not by far! Man, I think I'm going to sell my old local newspapers as faithful reproductions of... I don't know... original scores of Mozart?

HAHAHAHAHAHA

What the **** is that ?????????

How can somone bid 50 $ for such piece of crap. ??????

He even sells the BTTF Flux Capacitor Drawing and other stuff wich is available for free. How silly must someone be to pay for this.

In Germany we would say
"Every morning an idiot wakes up, you just have to find him"

And I think he has find him different times.

Perhaps we should start an auction with a white sheet of paper, as replika of the letter of marquee before it was written would be a nice extra for the winner of the auction. Sarting bid 10 $

I´m still laughing my ass of.

it looks like someone just went into word and typed out a letter, pretty funny stuff especially compared to murdocs.

Would need some additional days of vacation now, but have go to the office tomorrow :(

I got the wax to make my seals, but does someone have a high-res pic of both seals? I found this picture:

It's clear that the red seal is a gothic "B", But I really can't make out the green seal. I'm going to have twho seal stamps made to have this as screen accurate as possibe but the green seal is still a mistery to me. I'm downl... eh... buying the bluray version of Dead Man's Chest right now, but it takes some time it seems... If someone can post a screencap of the seals here, that would be great.

from what i see the b is beckett's seal. so the other one is king george the third's wax seal.
Yeah, that was already clear to me. Their names are right beside the seals ;). What I really wanted to know is how King George's seal looks like. In the pic it's not very clear. (It is clear however that Beckett's seal is just a Gothic style letter "B")
