Hopefully this will be the last attempt by Roger to try and scam the general public out of their money
Crazy part is... I'm sure he could have been quite comfortable making replica sabers, and selling them as replicas that were made by the original maker! Sure, not as lucrative as $250k+, but personally, I would have paid a premium to have a lightsaber assembled by Roger, even with some replica parts. Now though, that door is kinda slammed shut.
I just watched Jason De Bord's videos. I'm not generally a fan of videos, as I prefer to read articles, but he did a really great job of presenting the information! I also imagine it's a lot faster then writing, so he was able to get the videos out faster. He did a good job of distilling a lot of the conversations down. One thing I noticed while he was talking about the clamp rivet is that the ends of the bubble strip are also cut differently on each saber. Also, with a VERY generous reading of the LOA, one could interpret Roger referencing the "saber pictured below" as the older cropped "toe" photograph, and not the replica. Which, if that was the intent, is sketchy as all get out.
Did anyone see the photo Mark posted earlier this week ? It’s not a re-tweet, he posted the photo (in response to a tweet he commented on) Twitter
Did he take that photo himself? Like, in his house? That doesn’t look like a replica Graflex.

I doubt it.. he found his little loop hole to make money and I can guarantee he does this again next year.. hence way he said he has 5 or so...
If someone started a Facebook campaign to expose this dude then maybe he would think twice about doing this again..
..This may be a great excuse for Halliwax to finally sign up with Facebook...
Do you guys remember when he did a reddit AMA and spoke about the saber? We had a thread here with some pretty obscure theories on where parts came from etc, like the t-tracks being draught excluders from a car etc, and moments after members posted ideas, he would reply to questions on his AMA with information suspiciously close to the theories in our concurrent thread from here. Always seemed not quite on the level after that.

Probably just got replaced at some point, assuming it is a vintage. I've got a vintage in similar conditionIs the rivet on the bunny ears right? Looks much bigger then the one on my flash.
