Pepsi is making Pepsi Perfect? BTTF

Why? Wrong shape, wrong dimensions, wrong logo artwork, wrong color of the cap, missing silver stripe around the cap. Did I forgot something? Is there anything that makes this replica great?

Yeah the only things its missing is the silver stripe. If you want to be anal about dimensions of an imaginary bottle feel free...but don't be condescending just because its a limited edition product you yourself wasn't able to obtain. Is logo wrong? NOOOOOO!!! If the Argentina model suits anyone's needs...and I hope it does...but don't down talk those that obtained the USA model just because it lacks an anal specific detail that for some (i guesss) ruins the experience. Did the one is the movies have a straw? No one knows!! You never saw! So everyone should just be happy with any version they have and never forget the magic of the movies! BTTF rocks!!!!

Wow! Bold words from a relatively new member.
GOOD FOR YOU! :thumbsup
I've noticed from the begining how "the experts" bag on the Pepsi release version because it's SO inaccurate, but in the next breath they hope Pepsi burns in hell because they couldn't get one!
:facepalm
You, my friend, are absolutely correct in your thinking. Don't let anyone embarrass or bully you into thinking otherwise! It's a nice bottle to be sure. I'm thrilled and fortunate enough to have acquired one and I love it. Haters need not apply.
Polo, you have the correct spirit of the hobby. To you I say kudos. I appreciate your honesty (and I KNOW I'm not the only one).

... Did the one is the movies have a straw? No one knows!! You never saw! ...

Wait a minute, Doc! :p

This is the RPF! We are never happy with anything we have! :D Don't get me wrong: I would like to get one of those bottles and I will buy it someday for sure (on eBay or elsewhere), but just because it's an original Pepsi release for BTTF fans and not because it's a great replica. The Mexican and Argentinian releases aren't great, too. Gary Weaver made great replicas of the bottles.

Just got my Pepsi Perfect in the mail. Still amazingly, the Pepsi got here before I received my four newspapers I ordered from USA Today. Gonna have to call them (already charged me)...

Plan to drink it on New Year's Eve as a 'Good-bye to 2015' then it'll join the ranks of my empty Buzz Cola can.

Regarding storing it with a liquid... I just drained mine out. It displays great with my Mexico Bottle and my Screen Accurate Replica.

If I were going to be dead set on having a cola colored liquid, I'd probably still avoid it and just go with colored plastic like the one I made on the left. For that one I just tinted the plastic with an I-Poly brown dye bath.

The glycerin was just an idea. It worked for snow globes, so I thought it might be feasible for soda emulation. At the very least, it wouldn't be corrosive or carbonated.

Hey, I was going to remove the logo ,but figured why? I didn't want to take a chance on doling the plastic and I did use turpentine ,but it did not seem to work very affective on another one I was working on. So I figured to just apply over the printed one . I did wipe down very well with rubbing alcohol to make sure surface was super clean . Also I learned that when applying the decal, start at the top and go down threw the center rubbing in circles until you work your way out to the edges of the sticker. When you work to the edges, it will want to wrinkle, just take a hair dryer and blow air over the bottom of the edges for 20 sec. and rub out smooth. Works Perfect!
I used to make solid resin Pepsi Perfect's as well as the other two , Diet and Slice. Nice to get one I didn't have to make myself.
Crazy, but for me if I make a prop myself, I always see a improvement that can be made and it never rest..... Lol.

Thank you for all the advice very helpful:)

Here's a question, is anybody drinking them / is it worth more not drinking?

This is mainly because my parents were questioning why I was going to drink it, since it would be 'worth more' in its original form, packaging, contents, etc.

I'm just getting bugged by them so I wanted to ask here. Personally, drinking the Pepsi and keeping the bottle, case, and packaging is the worthy part.

Ask the question to yourself: What would you prefer to buy and spend more money for - a bottle in its original untouched state, unopened and full or an empty bottle?
