Depressing? That fills me with rage! Okay, maybe too strong a word! Other people are...sad, as this quote from the Pepsi Facebook page I'd like to share:
"Pepsi Perfect... what happened? Your website was down and never a chance to actually order one. You should have sold more units because you've made many people around the world sad and sadness associated with pepsi is a sad thing."

Sadness associated with Pepsi. I love that line!

^ well explained... sucks but what are you going to do? maybe more bottles will come out over the world and lower eBay prices.. :(

Well if he sold just two bottles he'd cover his upfront costs. I don't know how he was able to get so many though. RPFers are good at this and only a few of of us even got one, fewer still two but 30+ he must have had a team or a bank of computers.

We are assuming he actually has these and is not just a con artist preying on the enthusiasm of fans who will never receive a bottle whilst he disappears into nowhere with their money. It's easy to set up an auction and say you have something. Even with buyer protection he could just disappear with the profits! This is a once only opportunity to scam the fans, after all Pepsi have done it so why not others!

He has 123,793 positive feedbacks so he's definitely a legit seller. That means he's been in business quite awhile.

Ironically his seller name is wesaveyou$

Most of what he is selling is second hand clothes and most of his auctions start at $0.01. It is easy to build your feedback up selling junk at these prices. he might be leggit or this could be his swansong before vanishing. He has already sold 30 bottles at prices up to $399.99 each and supposedly still has more than 10 to sell so how does one low key buyer get 40 or 50 bottles? when most people can't get one, seems fishy to me!

It was said on this same thread some days ago (and hinted by Gary), but if he makes another run of Pepsi Perfect bottles (I wasn't even in the forum when he made his first wave), I'll be happy to pay him the cost of it for a real, accurate, and great replica. It makes no sense for us, the collectors, to pay 3-4 times the cost of an exact replica for a promotional item that's not a replica and it's not accurate at all.
Remember, we are in the REPLICA forum, not in the "inaccurate promotional items at forbidden costs" forum.
I'll wait for the new batch of Gary's bottles if they ever return. I'll purchase a bottle to him knowing that my money is worth in what I want.

The "official" Pepsi bottles are a great item for $20, but $400-$500 for that? NO WAY

PS: Someone said that what Pepsi should do is A) Make more bottles, much more. B) Donate everything that they earned with this horrible organized sale to the MJX Foundation, because Pepsi don't deserve a single penny for doing things like they have done.
