Watching this thread closely. I took on the same file as my first pep build and I've never done anything else related to prop/costume building before. My edges have a bit more glue on then yours and I'm struggling a the nose part (mine split open in the middle of the 2 upper triangles).

I guess I'll post a picture in here when I've finally got all the parts together. I've been building in 3 major parts that I'll assemble at the final stage, as it seems just building the entire helmet in one swoop could end up with issues moving it while constructing.

How did you go about it? Are you adding all the little parts onto the mouth part when finished painting?

How do you do a screen capture?

I just thought of something, are you trying to open it in Pep Designer 2 or 3 by any chance that could be the issue.

Yeah, I'm going to build the front pieces out of some sort of plastic and assemble them to look as much like the original as posible. If you know my builds, then you know my budget is pennies at best! :lol
I'm having a few technical difficulties at the moment regarding the convex curve on the section just above the eyes and just below the "peak." I may have to dremel the peak away from the face plate and continue with three sections, as the access is difficult at best. My worry is that re-assembly may cause issues....

To this day, I think the Biker Scout is still my favorite Trooper helm.
I'll be watching this one! LOVE IT

FYI: My next favorite is the TIE pilot. Any interest? Don't see that one done very often..
