just thought of something, where can you get the red acrylic for the fins? or do you take clear acrylic from home depot and soak it in red rit dye or something?

You can get the red plexiglass online like ebay or online plastics stores like http://www.rplastics.com/cheap-plastic.html
it should be transparent red plexi, if your doing a super rocket ray delta you need 1/8th" thick for the base top right below the top front fin. the rest is 1/4" plexi.
Let me measure it all up so you can see how much you need for one bike. You might be able to get away with one 12"x12" piece for all 4 fins.

thank you, i just have the regular delta rocket ray. also if you do get a repop rocket ray like i have be sure the batteries are zip tied down inside or else the top may take a jump off your fender when you hit a bump.

That is a pyramid fork, the quality will show over some time of riding it.
Here is a correct one.

If your going so far as buying a real DX you might as well get the correct fork.

Yeah, I saw the fork posts a few pages back. I'd much prefer the correct fork, of course. But I was confused as one post said 1985 while another said 1995.

Also, what is the number you just posted, is that suposed to be a link?

Abe is right... Most plastic shops will carry it. I have purchased acrylic from this place but only because its local to me Plastic Depot of Burbank. However, I bought my clear red acrylic sheet on ebay... I found it to be a bit cheaper there and you dont have to buy a minimum quanity. Or pay to have it cut down from a large sheet. I used a jigsaw and a benchtop belt sander, then polished the edges when i made this light.
