Pee-Wee's Big Adventure Bike

I have some spare ones as well as the aluminum rings used around them. I will have to check to see what I paid for them. I don't mind providing them at cost plus shipping.

That’s awesome! I actually haven’t even started looking for the rings, so that’s great! Thank you for the offer and help PeeWeeFan! I can send you a message

Well I’ve made some progress on sculpting the shape of bags (technically only one. I want to finish one side and be sure of the results before continuing on the other). There’s a lot of sanding still to smooth things, but I’m hoping it turns out. If not I’m going to try carving in foam. My main reason for avoiding that was the foam melting from the fibreglass.

Nice score , that's what I paid 10 years ago, or whenever I bought it, you're on your way Good Luck with your project.
Thank you! I’ve been wanting to start this project since I was a kid!

Thanks man, I’ve been wanting to do this for awhile, was stoked to find this bike and this price, couldn’t pass it up.

You don’t see complete builds pop up for sale very often (if ever). But I just saw one on Facebook and had to do a double take. Not sure if market place links are allowed. So I didn’t include that part. I was just curious if that’s someone from here?

it's one of mine.

Oh nice! I figured it had to be someone on here cause it looks amazing! Sorry wasn’t trying to be nosey Lol
Thanks man, You're not being nosey , a lot of time and research and $$$ went into it, it was a Great experience , learned I could do things I didn't know I could do, hope I can find it a new good home and someone can appreciate it as much as I do.

Yeah the work, research, time and $$$ involved in this build are definitely challenging! I had to shelve mine for the last 5 years and now that I’m tackling as much as I can, bicycle season is coming to an end. Lol Hopefully I’ll get it done through the winter and finally get to enjoy it!

I hope your sale goes well! Like I said earlier it’s an amazing build! I’m sure you mentioned this back during your build but are those mud guards cast or printed? I’ve read through this whole thread but there’s so much to retain.

I had to build this bike the hard way, everything on it is hand made, there isn't any 3d printed parts on it, the mud flaps were molded and cast.

Hello all! Not sure if anyone will see this since it’s been a while since there was a post, but I’m looking for some advice: should I drive 4 hours to buy this bike? The seller said she would take $350 for the Schwinn. $500 for both the Schwinn and the Hawthorne. I really want to start the build but everyone else thinks I’m a freak haha. Figured you guys would get it.

The price doesn't seem too bad, those fenders alone are hard to come by. But as far as the distance to get them.. Just think how fast a few hours goes by just sitting on the couch watching tv. A little road trip with the radio or an audio book and you'll have a fun little afternoon.

That’s the kind of answer I was looking for! Haha

Hey all, finally threw down and bought the correct Persons Siren. I was ready to replace it with this "Missing" Persons mock up, a showerhead with a car oil filter. Not too bad but I have the real thing now and the mock up's offered for free. Happy Hunting Everyone!!
