Pee-Wee's Big Adventure Bike

I did just now. I have some adjusting to do but I think it will work.

Looking good man. I know I had to trim mine a little to accommodate the coaster brake. I also trimmed the little triangle shaped hole by the chain guard.

Thanks again. It's a weird piece and I kinda wish I hadn't used stainless steel for this because it requires so much adjusting. I don't like how the whole thing drifts away from the dropouts. I know on the Hollywood Museum bike they had to use wire to pull it closer, so apparently it's just a thing with this part. I'm going to use a couple screws into the frame to stop that problem, although it doesn't make me happy to do that.

That looks nice and solid... So how does the other side all mount up to the fender? Is it just screws? I have been working on my skirts as well.

The other side has 4 screws that hold it in. One at the corner where the brace is, 2 in the fender where the missing brace is supposed to go and one at the front of the fender by the crank.

my bike and tiger sirens 001.JPGmy bike and tiger sirens 033.JPGHey every body, been a while, but, I've finally had a few days to get some work done, since all you guys are cranking out all this great stuff, figured I'd better do something, I'm getting left behind, here's a couple of update pics, still in the pre-paint mock-up stages, I wanted to check the fit and clearances, hopefully I'll have some color on it before long, it's starting to look like something now, and I'm getting anxious to ride it!

When you are transporting these bikes how are you getting them there? Are you just attaching it to the back of your car and driving it? I have a S.U.V. but I would have to lay it on it's side to get it in and that's not a good idea either. Just wondering how you get it places, shows, etc.

Right now I bring mine around on a normal trunk mounted bike rack. It works, but it scares the bejeezus out of me. Once the saddlebags are on I don't think I'll be transporting it anywhere unless I get a truck.

Yeah, I don't feel comfortable at all just putting it on the back of the car and driving 70mph. Not only that but you can't stop anywhere without worry that someone would take or bother the bike. If you put a cover over it I think the wind flap would hurt the bike as well at 70 mph.

Got to see the Hollywood museum bike today, do you guys know what kind of crank it has? It was so cool to see it up close and take pics.

I have a pick up, we use an indoor bike stand with some straps to hold up two bikes, i do 70 where i need to keep up with traffic. I put a bag over the tiger head in case something either chips or breaks. In this case the pther bikes handlebar is really close. I usually like o stand up bikes to transport them.
how about a hitch mounted base rack where the bike sits on?

Droidboy those casing looks great, so you are going to chrome the resin? Are the backs shaped to fit the side of the tanks? They look good.
