Pee-Wee's Big Adventure Bike

Just measured my plate. It's 2 1/4"x4". Again, I have no idea if that's accurate or not.

As for the prop, looking at pictures it comes out past the headlight bezel, and is made from some yellow plastic. Its mostly flat, but it looks like it might have a slight bend so it spins nicely. I used a prop off a little airplane toy on mine so it spins really nice. If you want it accurate you can make it yourself with some yellow plastic and scissors. Easy peasy.

Edit for an update:

Just finished the left side mold. I learned a lot during this process, especially since I've never worked with Ultracal or silicone before. The left side mold came out way better and used less materials. I also just poured the first layer of silicone over the lid. All molds will be done by tonight. I had a lot of fun making the molds, but the fiberglassing and the end product will be even better. Anyway, here are a couple of pics.

Just FYI, I used the yellow plastic from the super siren for my propeller, it's close in color and cost nothing, which is a change when building this bike, heated is up slowly with a small butane torch, it lost its shape and took a new one even though it's not thermoplastic

I thought I would lay some fiberglass tonight, but instead I made a table specifically for holding the molds. This way they can lay flat, and the whole thing is on casters so I can move it around my shop easily. It's all made from scrap I had laying around.

And a pic of the finished lid mold. This was actually the trickiest one to mold because of the shape.

Finished my center skirt. I think it came out alright considering this was my first fabricating piece ever. Just a quick tip for anyone new doing this. If you decide to use pipe straps instead of brass strip (which I did), do not drill the holes until you are ready to mount. I measured and drilled prior to painting and the bottom strap did not fit right when I went to screw it together. Anyway, on to the next project :)

Another small update. I finally got the left side skirt back from the machine shop. I had my shop make these like the screen used ones were made.

The right side skirt has an L brace welded to it to mount it to the chain guard. This side has two braces added to the top to attach it to the fender. This allows it to connect at four points....at the corner with brace, on one of the ribs and at the two fender straps.
