I know that has been a big hurdle for you. They turned out fantastically. When I get my bike completed, we definitely need to do an Alamo ride.

I made it home, I looked up and measured my trim rings, they are the 2.5" outer, 2.0" inner diameter small aluminum rings.

i used a mill, with the rings clamped and a counter sunk bit to machine in the holes needed. I think there is a pic of the rear of the bike in this thread, where you can see how the holes are sunk in.

The white walls look really chunky in the first shot, it makes the rest of the bike look smaller for some reason.

A buddy of mine at work told me he saw a show on TV where they built and sold a PeeWee bike for $500. He was all telling me how it looked just like the bike from the movie. I couldn't believe it and had to check it out for myself...

C'mon. It had to be done on a tv schedule which means they can't sit around wait for accurate parts to pop up on EBay. The spirit and fun is there and Diresta is an amazing maker.

I highly recommend checking out his personal build videos on YouTube. Amazing work.

In my book, there's no such thing as a bad pee wee bike.

Ok ok, that's true. They can't wait all week to find parts, they have to turn around and sell as fast as possible. I think it was just my friend at work who kept bugging me all day saying how the bike was better than mine (even tho I'm not even done) and that it looks like they took bike straight from the movie.
