Re: PE7 Iron Man MK7 Foam Build - Helmet Done

That looks so good and I can definitely say I would not have guessed it was foam at all had you not said so. How did you seal it to get such a good finish?

Looking forward to seeing it with the motors in.

Re: PE7 Iron Man MK7 Foam Build - Helmet Done

HOW?! Haha! Great job! What files did you use?

What was your sealing process? Thanks!

Re: PE7 Iron Man MK7 Foam Build - Helmet Done

Thanks for all your comments... specially the comments of disbelief... LOL :D

But then I was like compelled to show proof that it was really an EVA Foam helmet so here is the motorized helmet video to erase all those doubts ;)

Re: PE7 Iron Man MK7 Foam Build - Helmet MOTORIZED!!!

:eek Oh My! That is freaking amazing, foam or otherwise. Great work. Any plans for a listing in the junkyard?

Re: PE7 Iron Man MK7 Foam Build - Helmet MOTORIZED!!!

That looks so good. Really nice smooth motion.

Is it possible to get a look at the hinges and servo mounting? Trying to get my head around it, and it would be a great help.
Hadn't thought of a switch mounting near the hip but that's a great idea. I might look into borrowing that for my build.

Great work really.
