Just got back from the Burnley Star Wars convention (UK), where we diplayed our finished Han Solo In Carbonite sculpture.

The piece is all cold cast aluminium, and seemed to be loved by all. It certainly attracted alot of Cameras!

The coolest part was was Jeremy walked over whilst we were setting up, introduced himself, and told us how magnificent it was!!! Top man!

Let us know what you think guys...

That's an amazing piece right there. :thumbsup One thing I noticed tho was the size difference between Bulloch's head and Ford's in the piece. The larger photo makes it look as though the face is being stretched a bit. Minor nuances aside, this piece rocks hard!

Congrats! Looks fantastic, and what more kudos do you need than from Boba Fett himself:thumbsup

I know, we were amazed mate! He was such a nice man. We were stood there dithering about whether to go and talk to him, and up he comes :eek

Thanks for the kind words

Hi mate, thanks for the reply. We spent some time sizing the face as I have a always thought the original (and thus IC) one looked out of proportion, and is too disjointed from the body (as we know only the head was fords anyway).

We're gonna do a run of these (no more than 20), and are devating whether to put in side panels? At the moment the piece is about 4" thick and was designed to look like a sold block of metal.

After the fuss this generated we're wondering whther to go with the panles and electrics. What do you think?

Thanks again
