I honestly didn't even know this kit existed until 6 months ago. Always wanted something larger than the 1/48 scale stuff out there and I'm stoked I found this one. I've loved looking at everyone's build of this beast and learned some great ideas from reading. i went in my own direction with paint as I wanted this one to be my own and not a screen used version. I always liked the idea of blue squadron over the red so i started there and added little touches here and there. I made my own armature and used a double hinged panavise mount to give me more display options. The lights and battery all managed to squeeze inside and is turned on/off by the rear mounting point cover. The button is in the aluminum tube is activated by pushing on the round cap. I used red lenses inside the engines along with red led's and just colored the ends of the fiber optic strands in the cockpit and R2. Overall I'm happy with it, just glad it's finally done.
