I have upgraded my pocket PC and now I am left with a HP 1910 that I do not use anymore. Is there any neat props that I can make out of it? Still works, just will not snyc to computer. Let me know as it is just laying around now.

It's funny, as I read the thread for tricorder, I immediately thought of one fo those palm pilots. If you want to make a cool, working prop out of it, do the tricorder shown here http://www.therpf.com/index.php?showtopic=124427 You could hide the control buttons by making the lower 'grip' work as a lid that hides them until used. I really think you should go for it. It would ROK.

So did I. If syncing could be repaired somehow, there could be a whole lot of uses for the guts of that machine.
I think turning it upside down would be a better match for the Nemesis tricorder, though.

Can you make it launch Internet Explorer on startup, in true full screen, showing a web page stored in memory with images also in memory?
Then an interactive LCARS-like interface on the screen could be quite simple to make as small web-pages, with lots of graphics. They might have to be upside-down though, but that is only a small nuisance, I think.

if active desktop works on this as it does on a regular pc i happen to have a few animated lcars that you can use, you can program each button with a link of some sort, msg me and ill get them to you if you like or you can get a flash based 'demo' here of the lcars that runs full screen called loss 8 demo http://www.lcarsdeveloper.com/downloads.php
