Forgive me here but from what i read prop runner was thought of as an upstanding member for 3 years untill it was discovered who he really was.

Seriously, most of the bad apples this board have, at one point or another, been considered "upstanding" members of this community.
Are we supposed to become buddy buddy with everyone here? To the point that we know what's going on with each others personal lives?
Nothing anybody on this board knew would have prevented that sick f*ck from doing what he did, not even those who who were personal friends of his, I highly doubt he went around bragging about how he liked 'em young.

Right...ok then.I stayed out of the previous thread and generally speaking do not involve myself in these discussions.However I have something to say here for anyone who even remotely tries to defend this type of crime and criminal.
As a child I was a victim of a serious (i will not go into more details suffice to say it was very brutal) sexual assault at age ten.The paedophile who committed this crime was sentenced to five years in prison.He was released after three and promptly re-offended and served another two years before eventual release.
This criminal destroyed a huge portion of my life and ruined my childhood.I suffered severe mental illness for years before I met my wife who saved my life.
I now have two young children-both boys.I have been on both sides of this.I have been a victim and I am also a parent.I see ALL sides in this discussion.The recidivism level for these criminals is incredibly high.This is a sexual preference for these people-not a random chocie or crime.It is WHAT THEY ARE.They destroy lives-the lives of children and the families of these children.You cannot underestimate the far-reaching effects that a crime such as this has and how deeply these crimes scar and traumatise the victim.
There is,quite simply put,no defence for these people or their crimes and no-one should be naiive or foolish enough to attempt such a defence.
I cannot comment on any action that can be taken by the administration here to counter someone like this having access as I really dont think that there is realistically any that can be taken that will not adversely affect the membership and the vast majority of innocent and upstanding members and particularly new members.Just,as Matt says,forewarned is forearmed.

Well said bigbaddaddyvader, and thank you for opening up like that. The fact is there is no more foul or heinous crime than the molestation of a child IMO. For anyone to defend, put forward sympathy, or even consider any kindness to such a person really has their own serious problem.
If Raz is back on this board, then it really is the duty of everyone to discover who he is...and report it accordingly to the authorities.

Actually, he had quite a few run-ins with other members and the staff at the time, and had been temp-banned on at least one occasion, if memory serves me correctly. This was while he was acting as Prop Runner.

Oh i wasn't aware of that i'm just going from the content of the old thread quite a number although they were obviously disgusted to find out who he really was said they thought he was a nice guy before.

These people cannot be cured. They cannot be rehabilitated.
If your brain is broken and are attracted sexually to children, you need to get yourself castrated. Chemically and/or physically.
If that does not work and you still feel the urge to act on these disgusting desires to the point that you are about to do something....well...
You need to put a shotgun in your mouth and take one for the team. Turn in your membership card to the human race and take yourself out before you actually harm any children. That's the only respectable thing to do if you can't find help sufficient to keep you from going after kids.
Anyone who does otherwise has given up his rights to be amongst the living and I have no sympathy for them.

Honestly, this is a public board. It shoudl stay a public board I think. I was a member of a private board for a little while (technically I still am, I just never sign in) and found it to be fun, but not as much fun as public boards.

The parents should be the responsible ones for this to monitor their kids, although kids do and will get around to anything they set their minds to. I know i did when i was a kid!

Regrettably, there are a handful of folks out there whom simply do not have the personal maturity, intergrity, or character to accept realtiy and simply stay away from where they're not wanted.

That's the small silver lining...
For GR or any of the other members that have been banned and have made repeated attempts to re-register, there's really no point in it unless they can be themselves.
Most humans at inherently "in love" with themselves (if you don't genuinely like yourself, then you may need to check into a clinic for depression), and where is the joy in life (or in message boards) if you can't be who you really are?
Or alternatively, holding back and hiding their true identity (at least for some) would be tiresome (if not exhausting) and ultimately futile.
