Officially Licensed TRON LEGACY - RINZLER, Sam & TRON Movie Replica Suits.

Does any one have any UD Replica RINZLER Gloves to sell/for sale???? Size S or M please.
Send me a personal message ASAP! Thank you....looking forward to it.Yes it HAS to be Rinzler's thanks

Neo, I'm glad I was able to help you solve your Rinzler Glove problem by finding that fellow who was selling them. Be sure to post some pics once you receive them! :)

jaganar, I would have liked to see the Quorra line re-released as well in the past as I would have liked to get the jacket for collecting sake and maybe even find a girlfriend to fit it. ahha

I feel more empty now that the TRON line is no more with UD and my dreams of the ultimate CLU suit have been dashed...but I do look forward to UD creating some other suits for the characters that I grew up watching and wishing I could be like them..ie. Snake Eyes!!
And I don't know if I'll be the first one but I SO BETTER SEE A STORM SHADOW SUIT!! ahahha

End of Line

yeah but since TRON CGI is on DISNEY XD ...
dont you think we should have more tron outfits , especially REDGUARD ??

cus lord knows i havent seen nothing for the toys of that series but saw PERRY AND THE KIDS FROM FINEAS AND FERB.

with THE FUHRER , HERR MAUS in charge of TRON and KILLING CLONEWARS because it wasnt on DISNEY CHANNEL , i doubt we will see a TRON 3 until 2018 =/

There could have been, at least, two more suits explored from Tron: Legacy. CLU and the Sentry.
Seeing the white TRON suit from Uprising would have been sweet but difficult bringing something that is completely animated to a real garment. But if anyone could have done it, David could have.
I sure hope some time down the line UD is able to revisit TRON.

Should have my smaller suit in today or tomorrow. Will likely be looking to get rid of a Rinzler jacket size S and gloves size M soon.

sorry if this has been covered, but how do you guys or has anyone tried "softening" the jacket. I know out of the box there really stiff, and I wear mine as well but its still pretty stiff especially around the neck, shoulders and back.

anyone try to soften it up and how? thanks!

am thinking about using
CHAMBERLAIN'S LEATHER MILK Leather Care Liniment No. 1
its not cheap but you pay for what you get.
Its what is used on all saddleback leather products from Saddleback Leather. I have used it on my wallets and leather messenger bag. Good stuff

If I treat the leather that way is there any chance by softening the coat it will loose some if its shape or design. I'm taking about the pressed leather, worried it will lose the tron features like lines and ridges.

That's definitely a question David would have to answer since he knows the process for the form-molded leather, as well as the dye used and can say which cleaners/conditioners to use on it.

Treating the form molded leather wont do any good, sadly. You may actually ruin it in the long run. It's not the leather that's causing that stiffness you're experiencing but the underlying armor that it's formed around, and that just needs time to break in. Softening that leather 'will' soften the leather but also may cause it to lose its shape...and it's not what's causing that rigidity anyhow. Just keep wearing it outdoors...it does soften up over time. Trust me, I wore my Sam jacket all winter a few years ago and at first it was as everyone elses. After a few weeks it turned to butter...and of course I still have it. ;)

and BANDIT for all his help

You're very welcome jaganar!

Yes, it will be very very stiff to begin with. I wore mine constantly to get it broken in. Even just wearing it around the house doing normal things, haha. It does get much easier to move around in tho.
Also, if you haven't removed the body armor from inside the jacket that might make it a bit easier to wear during the break-in period.
Post up some pics if ya like!

BANDIT

its been years since i broke in a leather :eek i totally forgot about the breaking in process .. the armor was removed when i realized i could ... the only thing left is the spinal one , . i tried wearing it in my truck but o_O being new it rose about 3 inches from my collar as i drove to work this morning (im blaming the rinzler lower spinal spikes tho)

Yes, the spinal plate can be difficult to remove. I get mine out rolling the guard into as much of a cylinder as possible to pull it out of the small opening.

I would also drive with the Rinzler jacket on but would have it unzipped so the front wouldn't come up under my chin as much.
