either way i'm not sure i'd buy from David. A) He's a salesman. Meaning he says what he needs to! B) after he makes the sale, good luck on getting any cooperation out of him after that C)fails to meet promised deadlines D) cant seem to make desicions without asking his wife first.
I'm not saying his product isnt good. it is. its the follow up and quality of service that is lacking. Seriosuly lacking.

In any case..
A) Yes I sell my goods but I'm no salesman. I've been on the RPF 10 years now regardless of what my profile says and I believe my reputation and business practices have withstood the test of time...and the proof is in our products, not what I say. They sell themselves, I provide assistance for sizing and general technical questions. I can't think of one person I've convinced to purchase our goods. That's not what I do.
B) We're as flexible as can be and cooperate with as many needs and requests that are reasonable. Check with your friend that you speak of regarding this 'lack of cooperation' you speak of please rather than make open claims that are undoubtedly false.
C) All deliveries to date, in over 2 years since starting UD Replicas have been on time in their respective quarter with the exception of the TDK Batman Boots that fell 3 weeks behind the promised delivery date...thanks to a courier mishandling of the freight...to which we've removed that courier and no longer give them our business. In doing so we've also eliminated the brokerage fee's required upon previous deliveries of goods with that courier.
D) Sorry, silliest comment/accusation I've ever read. Not even worth addressing.
Once again, if we've met then I'd remember. If you haven't purchased from us then your buyer beware message is bias and made up of hearsay and probably fiction. I'm happy to address any concerns that actual customers may have but posts like yours serve only to bait....and if you know me as you say you do then you should know I don't bait easily.
Please have your 'friends' (noted plural..more than one.) comment on their lack of satisfaction and I'll be happy to help.
Lastly, we work very hard to bring high end replicas to the market and do so with the challenges that leathers and textiles present rather than cast materials. We're certainly not perfect, but we never ignore anyone and always look to improve our service wherever and whenever possible. Case in point, we've just moved into one large location so that now everything can be handled under one roof, rather than the multiple locations we were using before. This will also allow us to speed up communication anywhere needed.
Thanks for your post, but please don't claim to speak for others...it's considered bad form and weakens your attempt to do whatever it is you're trying to do.

i was hoping by the end of this week, for a geek convention... but alas, i must wait...
though my order never said which month, nor was it clear which quarter.
perhaps in future it can be put in the emails? as i'd fully paid up by december so i've been expecting rather eagerly.

All recurring payments for orders placed in Japan have been temporarily frozen. We will continue to complete your order/s but please do not be concerned about making your monthly installments for the time being.

Yes, once everyone's goods clear quality control...they're packaged and shipped with Fed Ex. Fed Ex sends you an email with your tracking number once the goods are picked up so that is your confirmation of goods shipped.

Also, everyone in the USA has already pre-paid their respective Duties and Taxes through the website at the time of purchase so now there are no additional fees at any point....this process has completely eliminated the dreaded brokerage fee tacked on at the time of delivery...and customs will no longer be calling asking for your personal information either.

First, re: Japan, that is a very nice and smart gesture, you guys show great professionalism in every aspect of your business, right down to the customer service experience and it will surely earn you repeat customers!
Second, on the customs / brokerage thing. That's a great option. I was a little surprised by the Customs / Brokerage fees I ended up paying on the TDK suit, I haven't ever encountered them before with international business I've done with Canadian businesses in the past. I didn't have a problem absorbing the cost, but it wasn't a nice surprise. Again, way to go taking the bull by the horns for your customers!

Quick question on the Quorra Jacket.
I'm relatively...er...well busty to be polite about it. I'm definitely interested in the jacket, but in the past when I've bought leather jackets, have had issues with things properly fitting in the waist when they fit the bust.
Any ideas on how this could work out? I'm worried that if I buy the jacket for my chest, it will fit improperly everywhere else.

We have designed the jacket to have cup shapes forced into the jacket beast area...without actually putting any forming shapes in the jacket so it will form to varying curves quite nicely.
Still, if you can just give me a call....I wont let you get the wrong size.
