I figured starting this thread for easier searching in the future

I posted a weigh in of all the different V2's I own. I do not own every version out there, if anyone has a version of the V2 that isn't listed below, please take a picture of it on a kitchen scale and post them here. I'll update this post with those pictures and weigh ins.

Well I'm in a group of people that count rivets and consider MM differences an important difference I think the weight difference with and with out a clamp is no different.

Hey Halliwax, I have my SH Gen 1 V2 installed with Goths Master chassis (about 1 pound 6 ozs). And as a fun bonus I threw in my MR V2 SE (1 pound 15 ozs). Sorry the Gen 1 isn't empty but still a good comparison.

I don't see how this is any different then other measurements on other props. Pe9ple take Nth degree differences as important differences.

A hilt with and with out a clamp will weigh differently. Simple physics. Can you tell me why the small difference here is not important?

I'm just being simply honest and not trying to be ignorant.

I will say the prop we're comparing it to does sport a graflex clamp. So the hilt without a clamp adds one more variable

You are right, the clamp is a separate piece and does add weight beyond the body of the hilt.

And not all repro clamps will weigh exactly the same either. There will be variance there as well.
