Obscure but really cool props

I'd be happy for an 'adult' scaled Johnny OMA Seven-Guns-in-One myself, what an incredible marketing opportunity that was missed.

There are oh, so many, but one fresh on my mind is the chalice used by Frick (Martin Short) in teaching Merlin magic in the made for TV movie "Merlin" (1998). With Sam Neil. The one one with the rose, that Mab used to throw water on Frick.

Another is the lamp from the mini-series "Arabian Nights" (2000). Te one John Leguizamo poofed out of.

Here's the craptastic "I Come in Peace" pistol I did ages ago from a casting of this.

A fine effort. Better than some screen used props I have seen.

.

The Omnichron "Omni" from the Voyagers TV show.

I know some people have made a few props even one licensed one at some point, but I want to get my skill to the point I can make one for myself from brass.

I'm with Wuhrer on Le Marchand's list. Assuming this is a wish list-

- the laser from Laserblast

Doc

I was such a fan of the Laserbalst gun since I first saw it as a kid, was a bit of a letdown seeing the hero later.

I have a DVD copy of "The Call of Cthulhu" made by members of the HP Lovecraft Historical Society. It was made as a period piece in the era it was written, a monochrome, silent film that was very well made on a limited budget.

The prop that I would love to have was the art deco Cthulhu idol seen in the film.

There had been a limited edition release of this prop which has sold out.

I've got a Diabetic pen somewhere, the same thing used by the CIA on the bus in the The Bourne Ultimatum.

I want the screw from Iron Giant, full lit, with gyro that could make it wobble and roll.

The HG Wells-style scanner from the doctor who episode Pyramids of Mars. Looked like a cross between a telegraph and a table-top Time Machine.

I like that movie! I've got it on DVD. It's definitely an excellent example of retro-style cinema (even better than the Grindhouse experience).

I know the boats in the film are actual wooden models. I can't remember where they were purchased, but the making-of on the DVD stated that they were purchased online.

3rd edition appears to still be available:

Holy crap that looks like Gen. Greivous' cranium.

While I love this film, my favorite Cthulhu statue is the Stephen Hickman Cthulhu he made something like ten years ago.

It was based on the cover art he did for a collection of Robert E. Howard's Cthulhu tales.

I have one other Cthulhu statue, one that used to be sold by Museum Replicas, made by Bob Maurus. He used to have a web presence where he sold other Cthulhu-related statues, but it seems to have gone away.

But my favorite is still the Hickman.
