There is a video game out there called Snatcher and it is like Blade Runner, The Terminator, and Invasion of the Body Snatchers all cobbled into one. It wears its influences on its sleeves and makes no point in hiding it and it's an incredible game.
I've done some looking but there doesn't seem to be any props ever made of some of the things in-game. Currently, I'm trying to rectify that by taking some artistic license with one the characters', Random Hajile, modified black market shotgun/raygun.
After said build, I plan on bringing to life the main character's weapon, Gillian Seed's standard issue Junker gun.

SD snatcher and Snatcher are on my toplist of favorite games. The gun is something i would love to build in the near future. I have seen a pic of a replica made by a fan in Japan, but it wasn't too accurate.
It is funny how Random's appearance is completely modelled after Sting's character from "Dune"
I wish Kojima would do a new version a la Deus Ex based on the snatcher universe

I actually never heard of this game until recently when a friend recommended it to me. I'm glad he did, too. Policenauts and Snatcher help me live out my Blade Runner fantasies: being a frustrated detective, questioning my existence all the while blowing up robots. Who can ask for more?

One of my favorite obscure props is the folding Rico gun for Judge Dredd ... now if only a couple of talented board members could add that to their 2012 propproject build list

Cyberpunk is my favorite type of sci-fi, if you like classic old-school RPG's i would definately also try SD snatcher. You can download MSX emulators and a translated version off the net.
I played it in my teens, we had the japanese version and didn't understand a thing that was written on screen, but it was so well made, the story told itself.
on a sidenote, i read that Ridley Scott wants to do a second bladerunner film
