Obscure but really cool props

Never seen anything on this one:
I always wanted to build the Shrinking Ray Gun from Honey I shrunk the Kids. I really love the design of it. Unfortunately I don't have enough reference material... Turns out there is not a single photo of the back of the darn thing! No idea what that area looks like at all.

Don't wanna hijack this thread, but if anyone has anything on this one I'd be more than happy

Omg yes! This would be brilliant and totally deserves it's own thread. His sons toy version might give us a rough glimpse of what the back looked like.

Is the 'Japanese' one the smaller one? All that was is the square part with the disc in it, all the other pieces come off (they are actually connected by RCA plugs).

First of all, that is SWEET! Makes me wanna attempt to make one.

To answer your question, the "Japanese" one, looks like this (this is the best shot I could find in the movie of it):

It looks kinda like a CD player. What you're describing "the square part with the disc in it" sounds like the playback "tapes".

I'm with Wuhrer on Le Marchand's list. Assuming this is a wish list-

-Existenz stuff (have a bunch of stuff from it but, man I would love a gristle gun . . . really really love one . . . even in kit form . . .)

-surgical equipment from Dead Ringers would be awesome (especially the Seraph retractor and scorpion tail scalpel)

-Loving the Cronenberg so the New Flesh gun from Videodrome

-the Tiki head automaton from The Phantom Creeps

once i read that, I immediately did a search on google and found a thread of lucas arts fans and one had made a cafe press store thing with the shirts with that logo. i just ordered the black shirt, with white Corley Motors logo.

I wouldn't do anything with a box of bunnies.
