If somebody was interested in making a copy of the map/scarf/bandanna thing, you can buy a 600 DPI digital copy of the map from hipkiss.com for only $10. I did yesterday and the site owner, Jonathan Hipkiss, sent me an email curious about how I was going to use the image. I told him that it appeared it was used in the film and he was surprised at that.
The scan is pretty nice quality, and doesn't have the edge roll on the left that the web site image has, and it has a nice border too. Would only take minimal effort to clean up a couple spots in photoshop.
If somebody did a small run of these, it wouldn't hurt for people to buy a digital copy of the file, just to show appreciation for him actually HAVING the source material and sharing it. I assume he's not getting rich off scans of old maps.
