Obi-Wan Kenobi Macro-binoculars

Hello there!

I hope everyone is as excited for the return of Obi-Wan as I am! To get into full Kenobi mode I wanted to make his macro-binoculars seen in the trailer. Fortunately Big Fred Customs was lightening quick with the 3D model. Below are are some build photos, and the final product. They were printed using siraya tech fast resin on the Elegoo Saturn. The screws are real steel. Painted with flat black enamel, and weathered with archive X acrylics. If anyone is interested grabbing one, I have a kit run (finished and DIY) going on over in the project runs section! May the force be with you!

I’m not sure, I haven’t seen it anywhere but I could be wrong. This 3D model is based on a combo of reference from the trailer, merchandise and it’s briefly in attack of the clones but not in close up.

Yup exactly with the mythos Obi-Wan. They’ve also been released as a kids toy at galaxys edge. The prop has definitely existed since at least attack of the clones.
