NX-01 buildups . . .

I just got the 1/350 kit, as well as a Refit in a package deal on eBay, and am going to start on the NX

I'd like to light it, and I'm wondering if there are any solid blogs, etc. on building this gem of a ship up.

Over at the Hobbytalk forums, there used to be some really good write-ups. I was researching it because I was going to buy the NX-01 about two years ago, but I ended up buying the Refit instead. (Which, is a beast and I have yet to start...)

Ha! I was looking for a new refit or two too, and couldn't pass the deal up.

Truthfully, I expected the NX to be much smaller! Yipes she was big and beatiful!! Very pure design to the ship that I really love.

I honestly hope and hope that the new Enterprise will fit snuggly into the current continuity. It'd be so damn cool to see a TOS 1701 with blue nacelles(like it was supposed to have!) and Aztecing . . .sigh . .not till December . . .

I remember something about some mods needed to keep the warp pylons straight or something like that so keep a look out for that tip. Some day 1000 years from now Ill get around to building this. Have it squirrled away.
