Wow, I think I dig this turtle more than the movie one. Very lifelike yet badass.

Hey man, any new updates?

Added a few scars to the face and brow area and also to the shoulder. Here is a pic of the face. Made the mold over the weekend and will be casting the 1st one this week. The snout has some detail, but it is much more suttle just like a real turtle is, or a beak.

The mold turned out great, I have my first casting just need to do some cleanup and work out the paint scheme.

Here is the paintwork on my TMNT bust. I am going for more of a realistic skin coloration. Got this done tonight and will take a fresh eye to see i need to work out anything else before i clearcoat and finish him. Right now i just think i may need to break up the skin tone a little more with a brown splatter. Let me know what you think.

Just looked back in and was amazed with all the progress. I think the realizm route with the stiff upper lip/beak is a very cool interpretation.

Here is the finished piece, i broke up the skin tone some and darkened the green towards the back of the head and shoulders. The bandana i gave some rough edges and painted some dirt and wear. Hope you like it.
