I gave up on Nike all together as of this morning...
... After reading through the Nike Lab Robots twitter page, I found out that most of the reserves went to these group of people who used bots to snag just about every pair. (I'm ignorant to the term bots, so I had to brush up). So it's been two days of phone calls to Nike's variety of folks all over. I complained about the unfair advantage and cheating systems used that prevents average Joe's and Jane's to make a fair purchase. I even asked why this particular shoe model was not release in limited time and not quantity. The Final verdict, Nike knows this shoe is popular. Nike plays a deaf ear into the whole "bots" purchases and only planned to release in limited quantities regardless. That is all. End of the line for them. They did their part and are happy with their results.
So Mags are limited, both releases. Ok, I can understand that. Bruins limited to 500 pairs here and there. That's a load of crap, but fair enough, I'll get in line like everyone else. Acknowledge the bots problem and not do anything about it with the "it is, what it is" attitude. That was it! I'm done with them.
So today I'm getting rid of everything I own with the Nike emblem. Literally. I paid good money towards their brand for many many years and have maintained a loyal customer for long enough. No more!
So all Nike clothing articles, in the garbage. All nike sunglasses and frames, in the trash. Every running, basketball, tennis, and custom shoes, In tonight's fire pit. This extremity will go throughout my entire family, and we're a big family. The only thing I won't throw away (because I just sold it last night for the same price I bought it), is my recently aquired Nike Mags with Nike lenticular cap.
I hope Oakley doesn't cross me. I'll end up with the most sought after garbage bin. j/k.
Ok I'm done. Back to prop collecting.
