Nike releasing Marty McFly Bruins on 10/21

We need Chinese knock offs in adult sizes. That's the only reason I don't have a pair of mags as well! Attn. China, size 9 is for kids and women. :lol

(No offence to men with size 9 feet, but you're in the minority. Size 12 please!)

I snagged a pair of size 8, though I wound up paying the eBay tax. Struck out on the original on sale.

The pair I got I set me back $350. I'll get a second pair eventually. The first pair will be a display model.

I got two pairs from eBay sellers (one for the collection and one to wear), both $250 each by sending Best Offers. But, I wear the unpopular size 6. Now is the time to buy. I agree, prices will probably go up over time as supply goes down. Scalpers who are selling at lowers prices to make a quick buck while supply is at it's highest, will start disappearing more and more each day.

Good point Diana. I scored two pairs. One on Ebay for $380 and another for $270 from your link.

I want to reiterate how important these shoes are. These shoes carry two important bits of history. One, is obviously Marty wearing them in BTTF and the other being this was the first pair of basketball shoes Nike ever produced. The last time Nike released such a significant shoe was the 1988 Air Jordan's that first featured the all too familiar Jumpman logo. Sneaker collectors will snatch these up and it will cost you if you don't grab them while the scalpers are looking to move their money into the next shoe drop.

I had no idea these shoes were the first pair of basketball shoes ever produced by Nike. I'm a huge basketball fan, so that is really cool to me. I'm glad you were able to get two pairs :D I've always like the shoes since Marty wears them in all three BTTF movies.

Well I won one from icollector for like $50 plus shipping. It's the vintage one not in the best condition but it's better than nothing.

So every pair was grabbed by bots? I heard it sold out so fast it made Pepsi Perfect look like it took forever to sell out

Yeah, that's right. But, Nike did it right; I'll give them that. They posted for sale where and when they said they would as promised. There were only 500 pairs, compared to the 6,500 bottles of Pepsi Perfect, so it made sense they sold out because of bots.

I think some folks used the reservation system they had in place the day or two before the sale. Several of the eBay sellers showed screen shots where their shoes were reserved beforehand.
