Prices way lower today.
Interesting - there are 150 on auction now. So it looks like they weren't the non-paying-bidders. They just trickled out tomorrows auctions earlier than normal and over a longer period, starting them before the others had even finished.
I just e-mailed them to ask what will happen to the non-paying-bidder ones.

Looks like they are seeing the price drop also and want to try to increase the time and potential for more bidders.
Hmmm...Maybe if they would've just released these in MASSIVE quantities and let people buy them for $500 each then they wouldn't have to resort to these shenanigans.

I would guess that there will be shoes available even after the 7 days due to bidders that just can't pony up.

I wonder how many recurring bidders there are. Sucks that thate will be alot of guys out there buying up 10+ pairs ONLY to resell later at crazy prices.

Yeah that's what I was hoping for. I calculated 112 being added early before the auction closed, so I guess they added another 38 later thus making it the even 150.

Alan, bud i had a classic response fron that loon, ill post it up in a sec, but basically, he now calls Markpoon a recaster, as his ( the seller ) are the originally made ones.
This is the reason, cousins, should never mate!

Hi, after doing further research i discovered this email - poonwk@starhub.net.sg to be a person i came into contact with in the past, and in fact they wanted to purchase these from me yrs ago, when i attempted to sell them the first time and in the end decided to just keep them for myself!
Seems they got a hold of a pair somehow and had them copied right in their backyard in Singapore!! I knew this couldn’t have been right!! What a sign of relief on my behalf
At least i know mine are what’s stated on the certificate, & remember they are stated limited addition, so it’s the numbers on the certificate u have to look out for because their where only fewer than 1000 made so if the numbers go beyond 950 you know you have yourself a gd fake! My pair are 50 of 950 made!

Why don't you guys start another auction using his pictures, and state that his are fakes. We can all false bid it up to be the exact same price as his at all times to make sure the person bidding knows.
That is the best thing we can do other than reporting the auction.

Some sucker is going to end up with them, and eBay will do nothing about it.
And if someone puts up an auction with those pics, eBay will take it down because that original seller will report the auction.

I'm excited to get my markpoon shoes converted by pitbull. I don't see why you need to spend $5000 for a pair. I know the money goes to a good cause but part of that would have to go to evilbay too. Its just a shame I'll have to sell quite a few items to pay off the credit card to afford these things... but I REALLY want them, have for quite a while. I'm sure once I see them in person in all their glory I'll be happy I made the purchase
My friend on the other hand makes me sick... sees them on the news, I tell him I am getting a similar pair, he wants in and hands over the money without flinching... tsk tsk I think I need a better paying job lol
