You know what's the most funny, in Texas stealing anything over $1500 is a felony. And Murder in the course of a felony is instant death penalty.

So it's funny to me that someone would risk their own life by taking one for a pair of shoes.

I just hope we don't have to hear any ridiculous stories like that. Any BTTF fan getting killed is a tragedy in itself.

That's great & sad all at the same time. I still can't believe they agreed on ebay for this. They should have used an online aucrion like icollector & had people have to preregister with a credit card. It's really not rocket science...

Maybe not "fake" bids per-se, but perhaps people with heads bigger then their wallets.
Could this be a clue to what's to come? What I mean is, are we now seeing a trend with these where most are not going to spend the kind of numbers we were initially seeing?
At this time, I am winning my bid just a tad over 2k with less than an hour to go.
I have three funding sources to finance the shoes so I am covered for up to 3k as my absolute limit - and as it looks, I should be able to get them for around the 2k mark even if I don't win tonight.
I have to admit, these auctions are pretty much all I have been thinking about lately...and my Rocketeer jetpack build...so props are on my mind!!

Brad, me and you along with PitBull and Gary are some of the biggest BTTF nuts on the RPF. You know just as well as I that these shoes are absolute MUST haves in our collection.
Price? Yeah, it sucks the big one - but the very fact that Nike actually went through all the time and effort to make these is honestly a dream come true.
I will know if I will be getting a pair in 20 minutes.....:cool

Average price for my size 8 is 2600 as of today.
I can swing 2k cash with the balance going on credit so I can make a bid up to 3k but want to see if I can keep it around or below 2k.
