yah, I really hope I will get my hand on these back when I'll unpack all my stuffs :/
Cause they weren't perfect but the colour match between the back and the sole paint were 100% from the same batch

Hey I have been watching this forum for a while and was gonna buy these to mod. The price seems so low. Do you guy think they are legit. Also does any one know how Jedifyfe got his toe box slim without any wrinkles.
Thanks

I took the front of the shoe apart and glued it back together. What size do you wear?

These used to be called "sports" MAGs. It seems they have removed the word SPORTS from the strap now. These seem OK except that the fabric on the collar is different to the fabric the rest of the shoe is made from. The base of the shoe is essentially a V2 where the HC had extra stitching around the lace box.

There are three types of slim toe -

1. steam is the easiest but may wrinkle and you only really get a flat toe on the larger sizes.
2. cut and trim method is what Jedifyfe created and perfected. This requires you to cut open the shoe and trim back the excess fabric to flatten the toe.
3. sock toe method is what airair first showed us and is as close to screen accurate as you can get. It is also my preferred method now as it does not require any trimming, gives you a very flat (even slumped) toe and is extremely comfortable to wear because there is no toe box in the toe anymore.

Look up MAG Modding on YouTube. There are many how to videos there.

I wear a size 9.5 normally.

I have seen videos on the steam method and cut and remove. I am going to go look into the sock toe method. Do you know if the "sport" mags have the nike stripe and the photos just have photoshopped it out?

Also has anyone herd any updates on these.
Thanks for your reply

I got the black pair from another seller before this one appeared. Mine are okay. the wings need stiffening up as there is even less foam in the wings than the V1's, so they would benefit from the mod someone else did of cutting up the insole and attaching it to the inner piece near the triangle. I intend to mod the toebox too, just haven't gotten around to it yet as always at work lately.

Ali express doesn't seem to sell v2 anymore. I was looking at DH express. Has anyone used them before?
Thanks

Jedifyfe : i'd be interested to see them too as i' learn better when i see things. Specially the reglueing tutorial for the toebox.
do you make this mod by cutting the shoe or get to separate the uppers and then reglue them ?

i'm pretty sure Jedifyfe's technique required some cutting of the fabric where my sock toe method does not cut anything away.

The sock toe is the same as the normal toe with the toe cap removed. So instead of holding its shape, it will slump, but you have all the same room as you had before, just a more comfortable version as there is no toe cap for your toe nails to press against.

I just found your youtube channel. There is a lot of helpful stuff on it. Thanks of making all of it. I saw your "power laces" But those migh be a little complex for me. For the normal button I have looked through the forum and all the recommended buttons seem too big to fit in the collar. But I have seen it done. Do you Know what they use?

Just found an old picture of my test for these back - I think that these where lost when I moved in my new appartement :-(
I'll make some new one soon with better lettering.

As you said, there is a air bubble in these shoes so I don't think I'm gonna dig in the sole to place some lights or gitd...
I don't know where it stops and the size of the air bubble.

The other modification would be the tongue. I'll probably do the same system as I did for the HC and V2 (checkout my Instagram for some info somedays = https://www.instagram.com/mokka_deez/ ) :)
your splatter on these are amazing ! what did you use ?

Glad to hear they are of help. I think the switch is called a judco. The problem I have here is the local electronic store does not know if the switches they sell are Momentary or not. I needed a simple on/off and they could not help
