You are going to want YOUR size so you can get your foot inside. Buying two sizes too small won't work. I know, I have US8 MAGs and I CAN NOT get my foot inside that shoe and that is only elastic. We are talking about straps and an electric motor here.

let me be clear (I still have trouble to be understood with my ****ty english ^^) :
You wear size 10 MAG
You buy a Size 7 EARL (to get a smaller motor)
You might be able to fit in the EARL Motor to the Size 10 MAG (a ARL size 10 won't fit in a same size MAG i think)

And you won't use the laces from the EARL system so you'll have to get rid of them and replace them with some Elastic bands for the MAGs (that will be cut for your size 10)
Is it better ?

I will be. Hopefully I can pick up some more silicone this week.

Why get rid of the laces from the EARL? Lose 1 strap to have 4, but why would you want elastic?
I just think Size 7 will be too small for a US10 wearer like myself. Too narrow and I would not get my foot inside the frame.

The very first pair I fitted were cutout and glued letter for letter. These shoes belong to member BTTFSpencer and are US11.

My own pair. I went back over the back of the decals with light grey to bond them to a single sheet. Much easier to fit, but I then changed the grey to clear to make it easier to match to the darker grey of the V2s.

You can see the layer of grey. What I do now is to not back fill the parts with the colour rubber, rather just use clear. It make the letters lower profile.
You can also see prototype bubbles in the two pair of shoes and of course, the new super bright Glow In The Dark (50% per volume) mix. It looks like EL here.

Because they are not the good size/color/material if you want them to look like MAG laces.
And because you must remake everything in the V2 to "powerlace them". Trust me, this is not so simple. You'll have to unstitch everything and cut the laces of the EARL (to let them go through the fabric) and re attach the laces both sides of the EARL... etc I did a simple powerlace prototype and this was an easy one because I made the whole shoe by myself so It was adapted to my system...

And with elastic bands you won't feel so tightened inside the shoe. And I think it would lace it faster as it is softer.

I just think Size 7 will be too small for a US10 wearer like myself. To narrow and I would not get my foot inside the frame.

Not too small if you have just 4 laces and elastic bands that are at the same spot where they were on the V2

That buckle on my shoes is the cloneprops buckle, not the new sculpt I have done.

The parts will be identical to the master. The silicone I use will pick every detail including my finger prints. The rubber that I will be using is the same as I use for the Clear Soles, just tinted solid white. It will be degassed to be bubble free.

I am going to suggest the same (A60~A65) based in the way they mid-soles are core hollowed and how the rubber grinds compared to how the stuff I use grinds. It is not soft like the V1 soles which were under A40.

I also learned that I can get a product that is A15. That would make an awesome gel pad for inside the heel and under the ball of the foot. Maybe even arch supports. Because it is a polyurethane, it will bond to the other flexible clear I have. Even the pink silicon I am using as a soft cusion under my own heels is A25, but that will never bond to the rubber.
Last night I was looking at the V1 soles again because they just have a better overall shape to them. I now have US8, US10 and US11 in these. I will have to fill the concave outer edges of those to make them work with my outriggers and rather than build them up, will build them down to cover the thickness of the soles and to increase the thickness of the toe. I have to cut away the back part where the heel cup attaches.

Tonight I had a bit of play with the V1 soles. So an mentioned, I have 3 different sizes and the plan is to make masters from these.
At the top is US8 (EU41), middle is US10 (EU44) and US11 (EU45).

There are a few things that are actually better about the V1 sole over the V2 sole. But this giant recess is not one of them and must go.

So I used a two part, quick set resin to do that.

And made a cast of the sole bits so I could shape these to fit.

Based on how the side wings turned out, it might be possible to make new (better) masters and molds them in this shape.

And just for something totally off topic, I got to see this Mr Fusion in a local pop culture shop.
