Jedifyfe, I'm confused are the inner wings supposed to sick out like the outer sides? or is it supposed to be flush with the mid sole ??

they are a thicker material than the originals. It looks better protruding slightly actually.

If we could find a material to match the colour of the upper's cloth, it could be done by gluing the material to some thin EVA foam. I tested this idea with the materials I had on hand (months before Vline posted this) by just making one side 'wing'. It needs a thinner foam than I used (might need ~2 mm?) and the cloth material needs to be slightly stretchy to be able to be pulled into the triangle 'finger pull hole'.
as for how to attach it, I'd probably sew it in where it meets the velcro, and at the top, use glue with maybe some small sewn bits here and there... I'm no seamstress though so any sewing I do needs to be hidden away.

What about your entire foam based shoe ? I saw an attempt to make a Mag from Foam. Did you finished it ?

nope, sorry, wasn't me, he is someone who had the same idea about improving the V2s upper and more time to make it.
as for the old foam shoe, haven't had time to do anything with that. the foam wasn't the right type, needs to be thinner. Don't know when I'll have time to try that again. When I get my workshop/shed rebuilt at this new place maybe.
