me and Green LED's are not friends :( put the correct resistors in place...nothing. all connections are good.
I even removed the resistor and they still were'nt getting enough juice to run all 4 of them! this is crazy. Thinking of just ditching the green ones, mod some yellow ones and make them green.

cavx there is no easy way to separate the soles from the midsole. It takes a lot of patience, strength, heat and time. Every pair is different. I've had pairs that the sole comes apart very easily and others that I almost threw away because I was so frustrated with how heavy the glue was on them. It's a complete crapshoot.

Yes. These are not made to be under pressure, so they all will fail at some point.

Big thanks for the heads up. I would have continued to wear the LiteLongs and probably have one fail at the worst time again (at a Con). I'll definitely do the hot-glue mod.

What voltage are these? Can you use lower voltage LEDs? Given they are in series, the higher voltage LEDs should give a bit of a buffer.

That's the reason people pirate agents of Sheild and all sorts of other things, I'd be quite happy to watch American or British ads by watching things on their valid sites, but noooooo it's not allowed. Bah. It's supposed to be the world wide web not the individual country web. Grr. Hate this sort of thing.

Whilst access to the video would be preferred, maybe airair might post screen caps of the shoes for us.

The green ones have a forward voltage of 2.65v. Times that by 4 comes to 10.6v. Way more than my battery is pushing. So never gonna happen. I've seen bulbs with 2.2v, wondering if they would work. I have some higher 12v green ones but plugging them directly into the battery results in the same outcome. Very dim. I must of just got a unlucky choice of LEDs, since everyone else's are working fine. It's lame cos this is the only thing stopping me from finishing my first shoe. Finished everything else and it's ready to go in.

I think its country specific.

Straight after, there was another program on the Delorean too. It was a restoration piece.

For the Love of Cars - Channel 4

The Four Rooms show is basically trying to sell to some auction experts.

Its mostly Luke trying to sell his Delorean to a bunch of rich old fogies!

I just took some screenshots, you don't really see much of the shoes other than a few shots.

I don't know how to rip the video, maybe someone else can do it.

Go to eBay and find a shop by user Bright Components. You can get the yellow, green and red LEDs all with same voltage drop.

just email them and tell them you want 3mm LEDs all with the same voltage drop. You can just tell them how many you need and can buy them outside of eBay.

Ok. I just checked my old email when I last bought.

I got the 3mm diffused LEDs from bright components.
These LEDs all have a voltage drop of 2v and current of 20mah (directly what I've been told by bright components)

Using the 9v power source, and putting this info into the led series online calculator,

I got these resistors.

56 ohm 1/4 watts resistors

Just get these and you should be ok. I have the exact same ones.

Like I said before, some LEDs from different sellers will have different voltage drops and current mah.

The ones I've mentioned work for me along with those resistors.

Ive also used the same LEDs for a few 3v setups, I've just used different resistors.

Let me know how you get on!

This where i did get my ones from. and i done a voltage drop test on them and they are 2.65volts. ill try the resistors you got and get em wired in. cheers
the amount of resistors I am piling up is crazy and all useless.

Cheers for posting the photos guys! I thought it would get some smiles from V2 owners. If it was nearer home I would have worn the RDs but 99% of people would never know, air did a wicked job on them!

I'll see if I can get the video uploaded.
