Progress..

Can you guess what one has been modded. Solid as a rock now inside..

Although, still not sorted this little problem out. Dont suppose one of you guys could check one of your green LED's and let me know the forward voltage on them. Wanna know if there are others out there cos all im getting is the FV2.65 ones. I got all the bulbs to light up by adding an extra 1.5 volts into the mix.

Hi guys I've just got my mags, trying to decide whether to mod them even though i am completely garbage at anything like this or find someone who can mod them for me, does anyone from the uk mod them for people? if so how much? Thanks

I would suggest doing them yourself as I know if it was me that was going to charge you would be looking at a minimum of 400 pounds for modification.

To be honest they are not that hard to modify as long as you invest in the right tools and have plenty of patience. Its just a time consuming job if you want them done correctly.

Use this thread and read over the pages for a few days so you can get all the information about how to modify the shoes, use Jedifyfe's YouTube video also to give you a clear idea of how to perform the modificatios. If at that point you are unsure if you could do it yourself then seek out someone who is willing to do the job for you, but it wont be cheap.

Thanks for the advice! Yeah have looked at some and it would be anywhere from 400 to 800 pounds, which is gonna be too much for me to spend but i can understand looking at the parts and tools that are needed not to mention the time, it the wiring and soldering that gets me, just have no idea, tempted to leave them the way they are but every time i see pictures of them modded on here, i change my mind lol Thanks again for the advice dude

How are you guys getting the clear part to let go? I have three pairs that I need to remove the soles off and can't seem to even get this started.

I'm assuming you mean the clear half circle plastic used as diffusers? If so I agree they were hard to remove, I used a combination of heat, brute force and a very sharp knife.

i think the seller might be dodgy, there are 3 different types of MAGs there, they might've just claimed the images from anywhere on the internet? there are MP's, V2's and RD's all in the same listing.

That's what I was thinking, someone could get
suckered in. When I asked the seller about the different type
of shoe he didn't have a clue what I was on about. So be careful people

At first I thought you had gone mad selling your mags so cheep
but then quickly realised this had to be dodgy. But if you ever do go mad
contact me first lol

What clear part??

I was referring to the clear rubber outer sole. I've seen heaps of photos where this just seems to let go, but tonight mine would not. In fact the rubber tore in the same place on both shoes. lucky I was able to repair it and whilst I was putting them back together, decided to make a small mod to the outrigger by doing two things -
1. grinding a small hollow in the middle and
2. by turning the wedge around I was able to reduce that sharp step out at the back. It is still there, but now not as bad and I think it looks better.

You can see the tear here in this close up.

I also removed all that crap inside the sole.

Bit of heat. then pry at it with something blunt, flat and metal. come off pretty easy ;)

Guys, a guy posted on here awhile ago about the its about time tshirts, he was going to make them and sell them, does anybody know where i could get one, need this to go with my trainers

Also does anybody know anything about them, were they ever made? the only place i saw them was on the tv ad with the doc

Definitely a shady seller using several of my photos. If anyone can't tell the difference between the MPs and the real MAGs then they're idiots.
You should see oh many so called sneaker heads or whatever they are called who cannot tell the difference! They are indeed idiots.
