Yes. This is my post from page 63.
I already know about that. I was curious to see if anyone else has done it.

The dc jacks? No you only need the pin end so you can plug it into the buckles.
Speaking of buckles my second set of Cloneprops buckles arrived and I am amazed at the difference between the polished and non polished finishes.. Seriously anyone ordering these get them white strong flexible polished, you will not be disappointed![]()
here's my 3v (2 x AAA) battery setup working (i guess I must be the only one with this setup so far)
Thanks. And what is the point in getting the polished version if you're just going to put some white primer filler over it? Does the polished version not have print lines?
I've ran numerous 3v setups including AA but as I stated before I can't get near 6-7hrs hence why I have given up but I look forward to knowing how long you get![]()
There's no way to add a charging setup directly to these, so thats the only problem, 9v is best for that.
Hey Guys,
Have a quick question. I think the ebay seller sent me the wrong color. I bought the aqua color one:
5"x6" El Panel Sheet Pad Back Light Display Backlight G | eBay
But they seemed to send me the darker blue one. Took this picture to show you.
This is the wrong color right? Supposed to be the aqua color right?
Seems like they sent me this color: http://www.ebay.com/itm/5-x6-EL-Pan...Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr&hash=item3f240ffc6e
Hi,
Got some of the Mag Strips that light up,
Just having a problem locating the invertor to power them
I am based in the UK, any recommendations.
I'll be the first to admit, my very first toe mod was an epic failure, as were my strap mods. However, I didn't give up! I'm pleased to share with you all my bestest toe mod thus far!

Previously I was using a thicker bottle with interchangeable syringe tips. The tips were too small for the thick glue and I was struggling to get it out evenly without over spilling.
So I started again, and this time I found this really awesome applicator bottle from my local Hobby Lobby store. It's thinner plastic bottle allows me to squeeze alot easier with more precision. The tip isn't like a needle, just plastic with a small opening. Small enough to apply a very thin line of glue.
The glue itself I highly recommend! It's Shoe Dazzle E6000. The reason I recommend it is because if you make a mistake, and pour too much or too little, you can go back and carefully remove or add more glue as needed. The window to fix mistakes is small, but just enough to do it right.
I couldn't be happier with the results I got! Now I no longer have toe-mod anxiety.![]()
Well done Robert!
i don't know how you guys are managing to pour in that loctite shoe goo type glue into a bottle and then squeezing it out.
I just added an extra thin layer of eva foam glued to the sole inserts, but is anyone finding the shoes fit a lot tighter?
almost like a size down now, possibly more due to the increase in height once your foot is inside.
Hi guys,
Before cutting into this expensive EL sheet, I wanted to get some opinions. How are you attaching and running the wires to the sole piece? Do you drill a hole in the smooth grey part just next to the EL sheet, or are you folding it back or something and running through the big triangular LED hole?
Also, should I use the existing soldered on leads or not?

BTW, I finished the other toe slim on my first pair. The sole came out a slightly different height, but I swear there was a difference in the behavior and shape of the fabric. That's ok, I'm happy with the look and know I did my best.
