Real MAGS...or V2's? ;)

Then again, I will use solid core wire when working with high current 12v DC circuits. It's really what fits your application best. Stranded is more flexible, which is good for running it through these shoes.

Crap. I just came back from returning the last wire I got. I got some thinner wire this time, but it's solid core. I'll go back tomorrow and see if they have any standard.

I have put the "white plastic" end piece strap in my mags project:

fantastic
do you have any more pics?
did you finish your shoes yet?

i managed to get 3v system working with a 3v thin inverter and 2 x AAA batteries.

its best i could do without Lithium ion, im scared of explosions!lol!

I have been testing the batteries that Taff posted and right now I have just over 2 hours and the green and yellow are starting to dim. That's already 30-40 minutes more than I get with other rechargeable 9v. Pretty good!

I wouldn't worry too much. They'll both work. Just if you had to choose beforehand, you should go with stranded for low voltage and solid for high voltage. (which can translate to Solid-AC/Stranded-DC)

Alright. I'll use the wires I got for the sole parts, but some extra standard wire I have laying around for the wires that go into the back of the uppers. I have like just enough for that.

Yes, finally I ended my Mags Project.Im using 1020Mah lithium battery and 3V inverter with my Shapeways ankle buckle with Tamiya primer.
I dont use 9V because inverters spend a lot of battery, because ovbiously have a big coil(tested and confirmed).
The reason for have a delays in my project and absence of the forum was for the BIG amount of work in Oblivion and Star Trek films(I work in Visual Effects)Finally both is finished.
Anyway, I spend about a year for making a Mags from scratch.I learned A LOT about materials, compounds, and electronics. Thanks for all forum community for the always good opinions about my project.

100%wearable!!!
100%finest materials!!!
100% from scratch!!!
