Has anyone put the plastic tip on the end of the straps? That's probably that last thing you could do to these shoes. This is the only picture I could find of it. It's the right shoe.
Real MAGS...or V2's?

I think mine are 20 or 22 gauge.
If you had some wire strippers then you could check.
I bought mine at RadioShack and I got the thinnest "stranded core" wire. Don't buy solid core.
Solid is used for high voltages which is usually AC. Stranded is used for low voltages which is usually DCWhat's the difference?
Then again, I will use solid core wire when working with high current 12v DC circuits. It's really what fits your application best. Stranded is more flexible, which is good for running it through these shoes.
Better photo for you dude!
I have put the "white plastic" end piece strap in my mags project:
I wouldn't worry too much. They'll both work. Just if you had to choose beforehand, you should go with stranded for low voltage and solid for high voltage. (which can translate to Solid-AC/Stranded-DC)Crap. I just came back from returning the last wire I got. I got some thinner wire this time, but it's solid core. I'll go back tomorrow and see if they have any standard.

fantastic
do you have any more pics?
