Yeah, i'm with you Vormz. After putting so much money and effort into my V2's, seems like a bit of a waste to just throw a lot of money at these just to have a more accurate shape etc.
That being said, if they go the way of the V2's and the price ends up dropping to 2-300 dollars then......maybe.

At first glace, I thought it was a modded V2 with my soles, then I noticed the shape of the mid-sole.

If these are real and they have not shammed us again, then these are close. I think they still missed the shape of the inside "wave" but everything else (apart from the grime) looks good.
I'll be pissed if this is the hand around now with broken EL.

Yeah it would be a shame if that was the case, but i'm going to be optimistic and say these could be actual replicas.
there's something not quite polished about them...the toe for example is just not quite as sleek as the RDs, and the white collar is far too puffy.
They could just be some modded RDs i suppose.

Holy crap where did that come from?? It looks like they have RD molds but the upper is less than 100%. The cuff still looks like it was heavily based on the MP, the toe is bulged upward, and the stitching where the laces go is a bit warped looking. Plus the strap is on the wrong side. BUT if it is a new relica then we can wait 6 months to a year for lower prices! What's another year after waiting since '89 right?

I agree the upper is definitely not spot on, same with the cuff. Also, the heel cup doesn't look as bulging or as big as the RD.
All things that i'm sure people on here can come together to fix. This is pretty exciting!

I hope you are right. The more I look at them, the more things I spot that are not quite right.
Even the shape of the lace box appears too round at the end. Almost like they used those leaked patterns. I am liking the long toe. The V2 toe look short and stumpy in comparison.

Anyway, at $629USD, I am certainly not getting a pair anytime soon. So I am back working on these and they seem to be pretty sound.

The guy who originally posted these on Reddit is a guy who has been making Yeezys for a couple years. He has been very responsive to people's requests to make corrections to the Yeezys and made about 7 versions until they were just about perfect. Hopefully, he will be just as responsive with the MAGs until they are as perfect as they can get!?

By the look of it, he has done his homework. The only things that stick out to me from the images are the cuff being too puffy still and the wave on the instep of the mid-sole is a bit too rounded still. Other than that, from these images anyway, he has a really good job.
I like the more puffy collar. Closer to the movie. I wish the soles were normal clear though. The ice blue never looked good to me.

That is the thing, no one really is replicating the movie shoe. They are all aiming to look as close to the 2011 shoe as possible. That is why it has a toe box and the short tongue.
I agree, clear (over white) looks best.
The problem is materials and UV stability. So all companies add blue dye to their rubbers now because the blue makes them stay UV for longer. It is either that or have yellow soles like the MP and V2.
I looked for and found an alternative to the rubber I use for my clear soles. What I found was a way more flexible rubber. Guess what the colour was? Trans-Amber. Basically the same as the V2 soles or MPs. If you add a blue tint, it goes green. I don't understand why they can't or don't make that in clear.
